Pushchino is one of the few Soviet science cities that have almost completely preserved their external and internal identity in the Russian era. As it was decades ago, it is one of the centers of modern science, with leading scientists and researchers working in its institutes.

Being in Pushchino, you feel a little out of your time. It feels like you're entering unexplored fantasy worlds where every thing you don't understand has been created for some amazing purpose. The apparent evidence of the stories of the scientific laboratory staff is fascinating and frightening – it seems as if you are talking in different languages with aliens from another planet.

I remember myself as a teenager. I remember the barrier that arose between me and my parents due to the inability to penetrate their mysterious and fascinating world. Now, as an adult, I relive these feelings in Pushchino: talking with researchers, walking through the corridors of institutes, just being on the streets of the city.
